The school was fully funded with a special party fee of 46.54 million yuan from Communist Party members. To commemorate the gratitude of the Party, the original Xuankou Middle School was renamed as Wenchuan County Qiyi Yingxiu Middle School. In October 2020, the "Happy Key" music classroom settled here, passing on the love of the whole society.
