Changxindian Central Primary School was formed by the merger of ten primary schools originally under Changxindian Town. Most of the students here are children of migrant workers and rural children in the surrounding areas. In May 2018, the Lang Lang Art Foundation donated to three primary schools in the suburbs of Beijing, including Changxindian Central Primary School, to support music education in rural schools in Fengtai District.
