Concerned with the practical needs of a special group of children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Lang Lang Arts Foundation further initiated a music therapy program.
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder characterized by significant deficits and challenges in social interaction, communication and behavior. Children with ASD often have difficulties in communicating effectively with the outside world due to language and emotional barriers.
As a way of expressing emotions beyond words, music can help children with ASD to open their closed hearts and to convey their emotional world. Therefore, Lang Lang Arts Foundation, together with domestic and foreign expert teams, jointly explore the therapeutic effect of music education on children with ASD. We aims to develop a scientific, effective and practical music education program, and make contributions to academic research in this field.
